Trim the wick before every burn to prevent soot buildup around the glass.
Cotton Wicks should be no more than 1/4 inch above the wax.
Wooden Wicks only need about 1/8 of an inch above the wax surface. If your wooden wick will not stay lit, it must be trimmed.
Do not burn candles for more than 4 hours at a time to ensure you control the temperature of the melt pool, which helps your candles last longer and burn more safely.
Cover your candle after each burn to prevent dust and other air pollutants from settling on the surface; never burn a candle with any debris.
Always keep an eye on a lit candle and keep out of reach away from little ones.
